Where to put a small cutting cake?

Hi Sarah! Welcome to the WeddingWire Community! I think it's a great idea to put the cake on your head table! Just make sure that you still have room for your place settings, and that the cake won't get in the way of viewing your guests! Just to clarify, will your head table be long and narrow? You may want to check that everything will fit on the table with the cake as well! Another idea is to have your caterer wheel it out on a cart just before you cut it!

I was actually going to suggest putting it on your table before getting to the end of your post so I say go for it.

I also say your table would be great as long as it isn't weirdly in the way then I think that would work well!

I mean you could still have a small table to put the cake on and decorate the table simply. Pictures of you two, little decor letters, a decorative sign that says love or a quote.
