Hi everyone!

My fiance is most definitely, the hardest person ever, to try and get to the beach, so a tropical honeymoon is totally out of the picture (saddens me but I will get there some day!)

We are looking for a place out in mid-western US, not much further than Nevada. Something that is budget friendly that packs the most bang for your buck, were paying for 3/4 of our wedding ourselves so we're most definitely on a tight budget!

Congratulations to you. I'm not sure where you are located, but what about Las Vegas? Or Arizona, which is beautiful! Check out Sedona, Arizona. Plenty of nice resorts! Good luck

I was pleasantly surprised with Sedona. Flew into Phoenix and took the drive to Sedona just for the view!!! No prob.

The UP of Michigan is absolutely gorgeous and you could go wine tasting, hiking, boating, or hang out on the beaches of Lake Michigan. New Orleans might also be fun.

Sedona is beautiful, especially if you like to hike. You’re also within a few hours of the Grand Canyon and page, Arizona (for antelope canyon and horseshoe bend - also gorgeous places if you are out that way)

We did a road trip while we were dating, Missouri up through Colorado ( could stay at a hot spring and ski for a day or two in Colorado). Then went through Utah ( Zion National Park) to Vegas (Spent a day or two) then headed back through Arizona and Texas. We did it in a week, I would say take longer. But we were able to make it very budget friendly. We absolutely loved it. It was an amazing trip.

We just did a road trip out west through colorado, Utah, Arizona. New Mexico for the hot air balloon festival, I agree it had some amazing places! I’ll have to add a few more places so maybe our honeymoon is another road trip 😂
