Where my August girls at?!?!

79 days, 8/16! We've got most of the big stuff out of the way. Need to finish DIY decor projects, purchasing the rest of the centerpiece items. Then final meetings with vendors to organize the flow for day of. Also had a nightmare last night that we were a half an hour out from the ceremony and I still hadn't written my vows so...😂😂

93 days for us! Mailing invites today. Still have to get my veil and shoes. Need to confirm all details with my venue. Pick music, plan ceremony. A lot....

i have a lot left to do but I think we’ve made good progress! The biggest thing is stuff needs to be paid for lol! I need to find a hairstylist too...

Oh! Got the invitations in and they had typos so I had to reorder them! Fun!

How long should the groomsmen order their suits?? I don't know anything about the grooms type gear!

View Quoted Comment That might depend on the place you go to, but my fiance and the groomsmen are getting their stuff at Jos A Bank and they said to get fitted and put the order in 8 weeks before the wedding

We’re 66 days out, and we still need to meet with the DJ, buy directional signage, meet with the officiant, meet with our guitarist for the ceremony, decide on a recessional song, figure out plates & cups for the reception, and make sure everyone has their outfits & accessories. I also need to finish assembling our centerpieces, pick up my dress from alterations, finalize vendor payments, and steam linens. It didn’t seem like a lot was left to do until I typed it out!

79 days left!! Don't have a whole lot left, mostly just finishing up DIY projects. We sent out our invitations last week and so far have heard back from 25/133 people, which isn't too bad! Bridal showers are next weekend and last weekend of June!

Hey Date Twin! So far no nightmares but I'm sure I'll get some too!

August 23! Going broke on Etsy finishing all the little details (bridal party gift bags, ceremony items, jewelry, grooms gift, et...) , making all the final lists with my vendors and preparing a timeline, planning the week of activities and our Bach party.

Current nightmare: 0/28 people have RSVPd with our requested deadline this Saturday 😵 Fiance is helping by reaching out to his family and I’m reaching out to mine. We’re now up to 6/28 RSVPs received (it’s online too! Just click the link)

August 5th downtown Annapolis!!! Still trying to figure all the details like the schedule, finishing all the decor, music, flowers, hair! So much to do still! But I have never been so excited for something! Can’t wait to marry the love of my life!

View Quoted Comment It’s a destination wedding in a peak season location so my vendors need a final head count by the end of June. I figured June 1 would give me time to reach out to stragglers but I wasn’t expecting no one to RSVP - my fiancé insists his family will just show up.

AUG 24th!!! 86 days left!! Im so excited my Bridal shower is on June 8th and I cant wait!! As for planning I think we have everything pretty well put together. I still havent touched the music hahaha but we met with the DJ yesterday so thats a start!

Getting invites put together and will be sending them out this week!

It finally feels close enough to be excited yet still sooo far!!!

73 days left here! We’ve got the big stuff handled and just had our meeting with our day-of planner but now we’re starting to get into all our pre-celebrations: bachelorette next weekend, bridal shower in a few weeks, hair and makeup trial and just sent out our invitations so starting to get excited on another level!!

still to do: finalize floral arrangements from the vendors, finalize dinner menu and figure out day-of timeline 🤷🏾‍♀️ with photographers, hair and makeup folks

My RSVP date is June 1st too but not a destination wedding. I just need to know who all is coming so I can pony up the doe and start saving for other things as well. I cant believe no one RSVP'd for your ceremony yet? I have had a few people and others I have been texting back and forth about other things and I have brought it up in texting conversations...like...sooooo did you get my invitation or...???? LOL. They have been like Oh yea, I meant to RSVP. Mind you I asked for people to simply text me!! Its ridiculous. Then I got an invite from one of the people that I invited and mind you she never replied to my invite =(

August 10th!! 72 days!

8/31! 94 more days!! Okay, I’m getting a little nervous. Everyone saying they’re waiting on and getting back RSVPs or getting their invites out this week! I wasn’t planning on sending mine out until the beginning of July. I thought I was good with about a month? That’s what I’ve been reading. Is this wrong? We did already send out save the dates to all of our out of town friends and family to give them a bit more heads up for flights and such, but should we be getting invites out soon too?
