Where is the best place to sell wedding dresses?

I went through the same struggle. I bought the dress that made my mom cry. I raved about it for 2 weeks before the doubts started to sink in. I would look at the pictures I took of me in it and I slowly realized over time that I absolutely hated it. Luckily I was able to exchange it for a new dress because mine fit into David's Bridal's exchange policy at the time. I ended up getting the dress that I knew I wanted the whole time, but I allowed myself to be talked out of it. My mom and FMIL both thought the dress was "too boring" because it wasn't lacy or blingy. I also tried it on in Grey so they didn't get a good view of it. They have both now agreed that it's beautiful and perfect for me.

I would keep in mind that dresses can take a while to come in, so definitely see if you can even get the dress you want in time. I was lucky that I still had plenty of time before my wedding so it wasn't an issue for me. Best of luck to you.

I want to know why the store can't refund? Do you have any instructions before buying?

I went through the same thing and man it was painful to take the financial hit of selling my BRAND NEW gown for $900 less than I paid for it. I love the dress I bought for the wedding and wish I had found it sooner than the one I bought at first...

At least a bride out there got a brand new gown that was her dream gown at a huge discount. Maybe I will get good bridal karma for that one. I just tell myself the dress I bought cost a thousand more than its sticker price and maybe - just maybe it was worth it because of how I feel in it.

Coincidentally, the dress I fell in love with is an Essence of Australia/Stella York as well and has off the shoulder lace detailing as well. My two dresses were SO different...
