Where can I find church pews?

I don't think you're going to find them in any large quantity. Many times, wooden pews that are removed from churches are sold at a premium for the nostalgic value. Many are antique.

I'm not sure if you could find church pews outside of a church. Perhaps you could rent benches or chairs instead. Those would be easier to find.

Barring that, you're probably not going to find them for rent or casual use. They're not exactly something that just gets thrown out or changed out frequently like office chairs or desks.

My dad has a couple from our old church we went to growing up, but he got them when they remodeled years ago, and only has one or two of the shorter ones from the back because my grandparents were elders.

Go take a look on the Knot sales forum - there was a gal over there trying to sell some not that long ago.

I have never seen them in the wild. I HAVE seen vintage wrought iron chairs (painted white) and they were adorable.

OP is your date in 2 months? If so I'd opt for more available chairs although I think they'd also look great there. And be sure to book your venue asap.

I think mismatch chairs could look great in this kind of venue. A mixture of small couches, chivari chairs, etc. It's more eclectic by could be beautiful if done right

Check with venues locally- maybe theres one that provides pews to guests that they would be willing to rent out?

Are you a member of a church? I know my parent's church has extra pews in storage and will let members use them for events like weddings or funerals.

In the south church pews at outdoor weddings are fairly common. My cousin got married last year and had church pews as seating.

Check architectural salvage places & antique shops & rental companies.
