Where are you tying the knot?

We're getting married at a private estate in the Hamptons, NY.

New York is my home state, and I'm a proud Long Islander, so wanted to get married on LI.

We're getting married at a nature preserve, about 10 minutes from home. It's a very special place for us.

We are getting married at a barn 10 minutes from where we live! I ride/train horses for a living, so it gives a nod to my passion without including any horses. We will have an outdoor ceremony in a small clearing in the “woods” that you get to by a short board walk and then the reception will be in the barn. The best part is we have the venue from Thursday until Sunday afternoon! So we can have the rehearsal dinner there as well as a brunch on Sunday if we would like (wedding is Saturday) and the entire wedding party can stay in the farmhouse the entire time, so it will be like a mini vacation with our friends.

That sounds so tranquil, Carol! If you don't mind me asking, why is the preserve special to you? Is it because it's close to your home?

I knew I wanted to get married away from the small town we live in, most of our friends and all of his family live up near our venue. Its a gorgeous Victorian home- its beautiful and will be amazing for our Christmas-themed wedding.

Our ceremony is at a local museum! Our guests get to walk around and check out the museum before the ceremony starts!

We're doing our church ceremony in Malaga, Spain in November with just close family, and having a party in NY with all our friends and family in January 2020. Can't wait!

We are saying" I do " in our local park The Viliage green in Cashiers, NC. Its a beautiful green park and they have hosted events of all sorts! It is set on a lawn with a small building that has a stage and three towers set behind Lamb Mountian ,which has a beautiful rock front showcasing the amazing Great Smokey mountians. Making it the most rustic cute park wedding ever ! I'm so excited !!!! I cannot wait 😆

For some reason he wants to marry in a church, though neither he or I go. It's one of the few things he's asked for so i'm trying to comply, though finding a church to marry non members has been a bit of a struggle without a HUGE fee. I was married before at the church I grew up going to, and he was married before at the church he went to...so both of those are OUT I'd like to just marry at the same place we have our reception. I think with photos and out of town guests it would be more convenient for everyone

We are getting married 15 minutes away from where we live but it's on the other side of the country from where we each grew up.

We are getting married at a beautiful inn in Frederick

In Las Vegas, where we both reside, at either the Wynn wedding salons or the Venetian wedding salons.
