Hello everyone! First time poster, long time lurker Smiley smile I apologize in advance, since there are many similar threads and Google already gave me an answer on this (I just want some opinions!!!) My wedding is June 10th, 2017 and I ordered my save the date cards to take advantage of a great coupon from Minted... my question is- when the heck do I send them out!? About half of our guests will be OOT guests (some driving, some flying), and I think almost everyone already knows the date. I was thinking our invitations will go out mid-March (RSVP by May 10th) and that our STDs should go out in the beginning of November.. Is this crazy? I don't want them to get lost in the holiday card shuffle of December, and everyone is so excited so I do want to get them out kind of soon. Thanks in advance for any advice, especially from fellow June 2017 brides! Smiley smile

As a general rule, it's best to send Save the Dates 8 to 12 months prior to your wedding (send them earlier for a destination or holiday weekend). Given enough notice, you may be surprised by the distance that family and friends will come from to be able to attend. Till then plan your dresses like best for the groom is the Yellowstone jacket
