It worked out great. Many people waited until the deadline to make their deposits. Luckily we had made room for that by telling our guests that the deposit was due a month earlier.

Many companies expect more then a months notice for more then a day or 2 notice. If your taking a big trip you usually plan a year out. I’ll be planning 2 yrs out.

So we are getting married in May of 2021 in Punta Cana and I am booking in Apr of next year so I can send my save the dates in May, giving my guests just under 2 years to plan and pay on their trip. Not to mention my own trip Ill have to pay on along with my kids. We are planning on sending save the date magnets.
