When to book a day of coordinator

cabride, on March 8, 2018 at 10:18 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

Hi!

Our wedding isn't until July 2019, is it too soon to book a day of coordinator?

Also, any advice on things to consider when booking a day of coordinator?

Thanks!

I would say no. We just booked ours this week. Find out what's included in the package before you sign the contract. I was pleasantly surprised to learn our doc has already offered guidance with so much, and we're free to email with any questions.

I booked mine the day after I booked my venue. My biggest things were how we connected in person and if they saw my vision and had ideas where I went “oooh”, if they had been a DOC at my venue & their reviews !

You can book yours whenever you want! Just don’t expect to hear from them or anything for a year. One thing I see posted on here is brides complaining that they aren’t hearing from their DOC 10 months in advance. Just don’t expect that. I booked mine 8 months in advance but didn’t really start talking to her until 2 months before the wedding

It's not too soon at all, by booking early you're more likely to get someone great before they get too busy!
