When is too early to plan?

My wedding is 9.10.21 and I’m trying to get everything I can booked and deposit paid so when the wedding rolls around it’s stress free. My FH thinks I’m crazy and we can wait but why wait when I know prices won’t change except maybe go up towards wedding season?

I booked and paid for everything about six months before my first wedding date (June 27, 2020) which had to be postponed to September 5, 2020. Now my wedding has been postponed to June 26, 2021. Thankfully, ALL of my vendors are keeping my original contracts and are working with me.

As others have suggested, book everything now or ASAP because there will be a backlog of other wedding trying to get in next year.

Wow I’m def going to make those calls tomorrow and put down the deposits just so I don’t get stuck with no option because there isn’t any availability left anymore.

COVID-19 has jacked up many plans. Too many guests reside in the hot spots and I definitely didn't want them coming to another hot spot...Georgia. We will wait it out. Thanks for your compassion. Smiley flower

Start now. I read somewhere that 93% of 2020 weddings were postponed to 2021. So in order to still find venues and vendors for your date you should narrow down your search to your favorites and begin booking. I booked everything a month before the pandemic and I’m glad I did because things are super hectic right now.

I really just need to put a deposit on the transportation, cake , invitations and get save the dates. My FH is thinking the transportation can get scheduled later but I’m thinking that why not book the deposit now in case another bride or for some reason we can’t find a ride into Boston after our reception. I def do not want to Uber and I feel like my FH is totally fine with that lol

I would definitely start now. Our venue books out almost 2 years in advance so glad I started planning Dec 2019.
