So, one of my biggest wonders is when does the newlywed couple get to eat dinner? FH and I plan to do table visits to thank our guests. We are having a buffet and we as many of our guests love to eat. So most likely we'll get food first and if we want seconds we will get it too, eat then make rounds. For over 100 guests we have planned 1.5 hours for dinner alone. We want everyone, including ourselves to have plenty of time to eat and get seconds if they wish.

I honestly scheduled eating into my entire day, just on the chance I wouldn't get to eat much of my dinner. I knew what time I'd eat breakfast (based on hair appointments) and ordered lunch for everyone at my mom's house (my parents, brothers, BMs, etc). We had appetizers waiting for us in the bridal suite when we were done with photos, which were delicious, and allowed us a few minutes of peace and quiet.

Our venue was superb in making sure we got our salads and entrees ahead of everyone else, allowing us to maximize our time and still eat. I want to say we made it to all the tables to visit during dinner, but we didn't. We tried our hardest, but we got half-way through, then got pulled away for the cake cutting and parent dances, then the dancing started. We were able to talk to every single guest at some point during the evening, but I felt less rushed talking to them at that point than during the table visits, if that makes sense.

The joy of a 12 guest wedding.

We'll eat at the cocktail and then at dinner at a single table with all of our guests. Smiley laugh

We are doing brunch and a very early first look most likely. We will be having a sweetheart table and hopefully we can eat when everyone else is, but I'm making sure our suites are stocked with food while we get ready just in case.

I'm planning on us going first for food so we can actually have time to eat since everyone else will be eating
