Hi ladies! I've been MIA for a bit because I'm done with planning and it is and has been the waiting game for a while. Anyway, I'm wondering when did your FH start looking for his tux/suit? Hi ladies! I've been MIA for a bit because I'm done with planning and it is and has been the waiting game for a while. Anyway, I'm wondering when did your FH start looking for his tux/suit? My fiance decided he would rather rent and that's fine but he tends to procrastinate and I'm not sure what the usual timeline is for men to start looking for their suits? Our wedding is 6 months away on April 25, 2020.

If you have a measuring tape you can do it yourself and it's very easy. The black tux had a tutorial that walked you through the process for each measurement so we did it ourselves. Then when the tuxes come in you can reach out to their customer service email with pictures of how it fits if you need a different size. They'll send you the new size in 2 days. My husband had lost some weight so we had to get a smaller sized jacket and pants for him.

Lucky you! What a great attitude for your FH to have! Mine is probably more excited than I am however he is not an organizational, planning type of guy.

Oh neat! I was just going to say I have no idea what to measure him for so a tutorial would be super helpful! My fiance is somewhat of a bodybuilder so I told him to try to maintain that size after he settles with his fitting since he wants to get growing muscle. Not sure if in his case he should push it out until close to the date if he wants to put on more size?

He could probably wait until about 3 months before just to play it safe.

Absolutely. Sizing is a way better way to start. Wee just started looking for the right color and realized no one had it, so I glanced online.
Look into National Tux Rental. Thats where we are going with, and they have an excellent guide. They even have all the men upload a photo of themselves so they know what body type they are working with.

Yeah I thought my guy wasn't either but he dove right in. Communicate to him how important it is to you and hopefully he will help more.
