    The forecast between now and then will change umpteen times. Heck, where I live, there can be a drastic change of forecast in a matter of hours. This is NOT worth stressing over until (max) a week out from your wedding, and even then, you can't control the weather. As long as you have a backup plan, you should be fine!

    I've been stressing since we booked in November for our October wedding. Our reception and cocktail hour are outside, there is a tent available if necessary, but that doesn't ease my mind. I'm hoping for clear skies and weather in the 70's until we move inside.

    I stressed before we even picked a date because we live in Upstate New York and spring comes when it feels like it. It just started getting warm here last week😮 and next year is so unpredictable. It's always in the back if my mind 😔

    Our wedding isn't for awhile, but we did host a graduation party in our backyard last year for about 50 people. Our house would not have easily held 50 people. It was May in Colorado, so rain was an option. Up until 4 days prior, it called for shower and 40 degrees! I was so sad. Then 3 days prior, it said sunny and 65. Thank God! So I'd keep an eye on it, but know it an always change up to a couple days prior.

    Get your back-up plan ready but then let it go. It'll all work out. Bad weather got us:

    * Week before wedding: sunny & gorgeous

    * Wedding day + most of mini-moon: RAIN

    * Week after mini-moon: sunny & gorgeous

    UGH. But it all worked out. The day of we were forced to go to our back-up location (outdoor patio instead of lawn) which worked out even better! So romantic and actually fit our theme better. And the rain slowed during our first look photos and we got some truly amazing photos.

    Plan B due to rain--even better!When did you start stressing about weather? 1

    Best wishes for the best weather for your wedding--sun or rain!

    Since day one, since we're having an outdoor wedding in November. Every one thinks is so funny to make comments about how crappy the weather is going to be, or it's going to stay hot till December so it'll still be super green ( I'm wanting a fall wedding with all the fall foliage as the backdrop ). Thanks for the well wishes, people 😐😒😂

    The second I booked an outdoor venue!

    Ha. But seriously, I keep reminding myself the wedding will still be great if it rains, but I know I'm going to be so disappointed. I also checked the almanac shortly after we booked and it hasn't rained on my date since 2000. So yeah, I've been a bit crazy. I think I'm going to make FH delete the weather app on my phone once we get to a month out or so (half-serious).

    And in your case, there's NO WAY they can know the weather this far out. Don't stress it!

    Mine is in 8 days and I just started checking. It’s not looking great but I’ve decided not to stress because that’s one thing I can’t affect!!!

    FH is actually a meteorologist! I tend to worry about things like this, but you can't worry too far out! He has always told me that anything more than 7 days will absolutely change as the technology really can't forecast that far out. While you can look at it that far out, the conditions are likely to change. I wouldn't worry too much until a week out, but really 3 days out is going to be your best bet, especially to start looking into backup plans. I hope the weather turns out beautifully for your wedding!
