I wouldn't stress until a week out max. 5 1/2 weeks is too far out to have a reliable prediction.

Never. It can’t be controlled, so why stress about it?Just make your contingency plans and forget about it.

My birthday was 2weeks ago and it was predicted to be sunny and clear up until 3days before. The actual day was cloudy and drizzly through the afternoon. Forecasters are not 100% have a back up plan.

I've checked the weather for my area the last 2 weeks or so & the forecast changed 3x, including today (Wednesday) until this Saturday. I honestly think you wont really know the weather until a day or 2 before. I know it sucks. As of today it says 40% chance of rain during the day & 70% possible thunderstorms at night for this Saturday (my wedding). I'm def stressing! My ceremony is inside but I stress over getting inside, since HMU at the salon, pics outside, the guests & leaving. Ughhh. Good luck for you! I hope you have beautiful weather!!

Weather.com has 14 days out. I have checked it every day since (9 days out now). Its changed literally everyday, don't worry Smiley smile. Its helped me to also plan for all types of weather. I look and it's supposed to thunderstorm so I spend the day planning what happens if it storms. I'll look the next day and plan all day for sunny and 80 degrees. Its weirdly helped my nerves because I'm prepared for it. Bring it on weather, whatever you do, I'll still marry my man.

We are 9 days out and I'm not stressing. Hoping it's nice and sunny but if it isn't? Oh well, nothing I can do about, so why let it bother me?

I wouldn’t ever be stressing about the weather. There’s no point. You can’t control it. Have an alternate plan for any outdoor activities and enjoy the ride!

Like others have said, you can't control the weather, so why stress about it? Of course I would love perfect weather on my wedding day, but if it rains, it rains. 5 and a half weeks is also wayyyyy too far out for the weather to be accurate lol.

I second this - you can't control it, if you have a back up plan it should not be a problem. We had a very (VERY) light mist the morning of our wedding, and.......no biggie.

I was driving myself crazy looking at the weather forecast for my outdoor wedding. I would check every day sometimes multiple times and every time I would look it was different. Even just a week before it kept switching between rain and no rain. It ended up being the most beautiful fall day it was sunny and about 70 degrees, perfect.

My advice do drive yourself crazy obsessing over the weather but have a backup plan just in case.

Yes!! I started stressing the month before! Here in Mississippi it has been raining every weekend since February! My wedding is a week from Saturday and all I ask for is a beautiful dry day with our wedding being outside. That’s all I worry about is the weather!

I started looking at the 2 week mark. Big mistake. It said 100% of severe thunderstorms and it's an outdoor wedding. I cried... the very next day it said only 40% chance. I'm currently 10 days away and will probably keep an eye on weather but try not to stress until the week of.

Do not rely on that extended outlook. Where is your wedding?

I had my engagement pictures scheduled for this past Sunday, and had been checking the weather obsessively the week leading up to that day because they were outdoors. The forecast literally changed every single day. So annoying. And even changed the day of. All of this to say, I honestly don't even think you can trust it 100% a few days before. The weather is truly unpredictable, and it sucks. I also know how it feels when people say to make the best of the rain, and you know they're right but you're still bummed because you had a vision.

We rescheduled our e-pics to this coming Saturday because the weather looked gorgeous, so promising! And now here we are on Wednesday and thunderstorms are predicted Smiley amazing I can't. And no doubt it will change a few more times before we get to Saturday. Meanwhile every weekday is sunny and 80 degrees. I've had enough with Mother Nature tbh. I can't keep up.

I wouldn't stress yourself from now dear, maybe start checking about a week out. It's going to change so many times between now and then. It's a roller coaster.

I don’t stress over things I can’t control. If you’re getting married outdoors, then you should have a plan B in place.

I agree with others that said not to stress. It’s out of your control and constantly changes. The weather report had changed a handful of times hours before my ceremony. It ended up drizzling a little during my ceremony (just drops here and there and we stayed outside) and poured during the indoor reception. Just make sure you have a Plan B (or C or D) in place just in case.

I live in Indiana...I can’t stress about the weather until the day of because it changes so often 😂😂. As of right now it’s saying sunny and 88 on Saturday. But it could literally be snowing and 30 by then! I’m glad we are getting married inside either way!

There’s not even a remote chance of accuracy until the week of and even then it’s subject to change. I won’t even look until the week before.

I'm already stressing, because we are having a tent wedding in our back yard and cocktail hour is supposed to be on our back deck. The wedding is next October. I'm just going to pray and pray for no rain. I'm be checking the 2 weeks before the wedding, even though I know it can change daily.
