Is it ok to pass on an engagement dinner? I know some people throw there own and I feel like I want to..? My mom wanted to have one in July but I said September(which is now) its cooler and good timing to me. I'm thinking of having one at a bar and grill? kind of casual but only close friends and...

Is it ok to pass on an engagement dinner? I know some people throw there own and I feel like I want to..? My mom wanted to have one in July but I said September(which is now) its cooler and good timing to me. I'm thinking of having one at a bar and grill? kind of casual but only close friends and family.(parents, siblings, grandparents and a few cousins)

    @Gym. I did ask some basic questions to EW about how she felt about buffets and people who work weekends.....she of course said no buffet at her wedding but they are fine. HaHa
