I know exactly what you mean about overthinking it lol! Sometimes too many cooks in the kitchen make it hard to make decisions, they are right, you do have time, before your wedding but if you keep saying that, 1 year and 3 months are gonna FLY by, and you will run out of time! It's better to be ready early than to be late and have no choices! From what all the wedding vendors have told me so far, stay a head of your game if you want the planning experience to be fun!

You will need your shoes before they can start alterations on your dress, so I don’t think it would hurt to purchase them now!

They don’t look uncomfortable but we’ll see.

If you would wear them outside of your wedding, then get them on sale! If you change your mind later, you just have an extra pair of super cute shoes. I knew what shoes I wanted right away and waited to get them. I almost lost out on them because they were having a hard time keeping them in my size, and for over a month they were sold out every time I went to buy them. I nearly panicked. Don't miss out on something if you really like them.

I'm getting married on Leap Day and got my shoes this past March! I have them sitting in a box in the back of my closet until a little closer to time when I'll start breaking them in. I'm still in love with my wedding shoes!!

I would say get them, but I'm a sucker for a good sale! Even if you change your mind in the next year, you could probably resell them for what you paid for them.
