I got engaged in February after a two year "courtship".
We set a date, we invited our friends to participate in the wedding, but, I must admit, it didn't feel real until we booked our venue. Woo hoo!
We were full steam ahead,booking our Venue, Honeymoon, DJ, photographer, officiant, caterer, ordered our cake, had our engagement photos taken for save the date, bridesmaids have dresses and shoes, I have my dress and veil. I have a make-up artist and hair dresser lined up. I even have a hair dresser for my horse Sasparilla, who I'll be riding in my wedding.
Our wedding is June 6,2020.
We have accomplished alot,but for the moment we are at a standstill due to some unexpected life events.
My Daddy has been diagnosed with Dementia. It's a tough journey to take with a loved one. I truly hope he can stand up with me at my wedding.
I'm also approaching the second anniversary of my Mama's death on the 4th of August.
I'm in need of a happy distraction to cheer me up and get my wedding mojo back.
