I'm getting married August 24th. My MOH says 6-8 weeks before the wedding is too late bit everywhere I read says 6-8 weeks. When should I send them?!

I was thinking of doing the same! I'm looking at sending my invites out 6 weeks out from our August 14th deadline to give me 2 weeks to hunt people down who didn't RSVP. We are getting married Oct. 4. My plan was to send invites around mid/late June. Plus RSVP is on our wedding website so hopefully a shorter timeline works out well for that.
