As a cake decorator I LOVE hearing unique cake flavors and fillings. Lol I recently did a wedding cake that was pina colada flavored cake with fresh bananas and pineapples inside. The icing was Malibu coconut rum. Absolutely delicious for a summer wedding. My cake is going to be two tiers chocolate cake with buttercream icing with raspberry cheesecake filling(FH is obsessed with anything cheesecake) and one tier will be gold cake with lemon buttercream filling. What's yours?!

I love talking about our cake! It was not only beautiful, but so delicious. We had three tiers/flavors with a buttercream frosting: (1) "Little italy," which was cinnamon cake and canolli filling, (2) "Peaches B Demented," which was a peach cake with a ginger mousse filling, and (3) chocolate peanut butter fudge.

I am a pastry chef myself and this is probably one of the most important parts to me. We are probably going to end up doing a fake cake with the cutting tier and the top tier real. (top for saving) My fiance has picked the flavor banana cake with a peanut butter buttercream for one of our flavors. Another flavor we will probably go with is a vanilla cake with a caramel buttercream and caramel smear. And the other one will be a chocolate cake with a chocolate buttercream and espresso simple syrup on the cake for some flavor.

Spice cake! Bakeries don't seem to offer it, but I have a good friend who can make macarons without breaking them, so I know she can do cake.

I said this to my mom, and she said something about fruit? I got confused. She thinks spice cake is dense and has fruit. I told her no, it's normal cake, like a yellow cake, but with a bunch of nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon, etc.

We're having deep dark chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream icing. When we taste tested it was soooo good!

We had three tiers-- they were all variations on chocolate or mocha. Unfortunately, we kept the top tier and that was milk chocolate-- if I'd been thinking, I would have made that one the dark chocolate one. Ah, well-- it was yummy (once it thawed out).
