I really do not want to practice this, I want this to be organic. But a deep kiss would suffice for me.

My DH wouldn't practice with me! He wanted it to be spontaneous. He totally went for it and fortunately it was a nice long kiss because I really didn't expect to care about that shot but it came out great!

Tip: Ask your officiant to step aside before the final words/first kiss. That way, he or she won't be photo bombing your first kiss! (awkward)

FH wants to dip me for the kiss. He’s been spontaneously dipping me a lot lately so at least he’s practicing.

Just make it natural! I don't want to practice or anything for it, but I do know to hold it a little bit longer to let the photographer catch it. A peck, to me, is not genuine, but making out at the altar is gross. I'm just not going to overthink it and I'm sure it'll be great!

We haven't talked about this BUT when he kisses me when he hasn't seen me in awhile he does 3 quick kisses and taps my butt. I'm thinking he might do that.

We have not seriously discussed the kiss. Everytime I try to be serious, he makes jokes.

It's definitely unusual, but nothing too dramatic. We've kissed each other's face plenty, just never on the lips (I've never kissed anyone on the lips)
We got plenty of chemistry. I'm not worried about him being a bad kisser, and even if I was, that would change that fact that he's a wonderful man, an amazing fit for me, and I can't wait to marry. Besides, we can always practice 😉

Thanks Smiley smile and yeah it does, although when you're used to it it's not too bad. It helps keep a clear boundary, since sex isn't going to happen until marriage. And it'll make the kiss extra special and anticipated!

When is your wedding and how's the planning going? I'm 136 days away from mine Smiley smile

Same to you! We wanted to do one in October, but decided to go November to be sure he'd be out of the first part of flight training. Although now, depending what he gets assigned to fly, the second part if training might start before the wedding date. If that happens, we've just have to get officially married while he's between training, and have the November date be a renewal of vows and big party for everyone. It's hard working around military schedules, but we'll manage Smiley smile

I completely understand... this is my 2nd wedding . My ex husband was and still is military. He deployed alot . It was too much for me to handle .. we have a child though and are still good freinds .. Being a military wife is alot of work .. struggle .. it was a great community and i made great friends.
