My sweetheart is great with chores, thank goodness!! And he knows how to fix stuff. We both cook (which is interesting since I’m vegan and he’s not but is okay with most vegan meals). He hates folding fitted sheets. I hate cleaning the bathroom. Otherwise we share duties. He just moved his stuff in today from moving across country. Our wedding is March 28.

Anything with cleaning, to be honest. Dishes, laundry, you name it. But if he has to, he'll do it.

We split chores because we both hate cleaning.

But I think it would have to be tackling the "library" - which is what we call our teeny, tiny catch-all room. It will hopefully be a nursery/library someday, but right now?

    Full of junk!

I'm not even sure because he's so good at keeping things neat and tidy. Probably dishes.

Bringing dirty dishes in the the kitchen and rinsing them, when he knows the dishwasher is broken. He has to able to round things up and rinse and put them in the dishwasher directly. Our first, one and only fight from the time we first met, til marriage (14 months) was over this. 3 years later, having moved, renovated kitchen, dishwasher on order, we fought over it again. And when I came home from a trip to see a sick grandmother, and the DW had broken. I had big dogs when we met. Now we have dogs and 5 kids. Without prompting, as he gets up to leave a room, or get anything, he scoops up dishes and loads them. But to come home and find for 3 days he has left half drunk beverages, his snacks, things from pizza with friends on low coffee tables, which have been dog licked and carried all over the house makes me nuts. Otherwise, he is great about the house. We have had 4 fights in 15 years together.

We both hate "changing the poop bucket."

We pick up after our dog (pretty unusual these days) and put the offending parcels into a trash-lined bucket outside. Every 2-4 weeks (depending on time if year...it can be 1 week) we put it out with the regular trash to take.

    Ick.

Anything to do with cleaning. Having raised two boys on his own and with the older (messier) still living with him until I move in, cleaning is not on his priority list. We have already agreed that the kitchen, which is being remodeled, and the bathrooms, which will be done after the kitchen, will be my domain. His will be the yard and the cars. I'm sure if I ask him to run the vacuum or do the laundry he will do those chores. But I'm kind of a control freak so I may just do them alone.
