It is kinda generic sounding I know but before I met him I was a serial dater of bad boys who cheated, played games and down right didn't give a crap and he was raising his 4 year old daughter by himself with her mom nowhere in the picture and after being engaged once before and realizing that girl wasn't the one so it suits us because we really have gone down a broken road to get to one another!

Our first song was going to be The Way You Look Tonight by Frank Sinatra, but my FH wants to change it to Bless the Broken Road - Rascal Flatts. It is kinda appropriate given his/our past, but I do feel like it's a bit generic like Susan said. FH says that it means a lot to him and that he thinks of me every time he hears it so we'll see...

Now when i say generic.. I mean it as just being a sweet love song and having no meanning behind it! Im all for a classic love song if there is a good reason behind it! those are the ones i always tear up at!

To me the first dance should mean something to us as a couple so that is how I argue the genericness (not sure that is a word but whatever) and for our final dance we are going to do something a little different thinking about Johnny and June by Heidi Newfield

We've picked out "At Last" sang by Beyonce, its a very meaningful song to both of us and I happen to be a huge Beyonce fan, so two wins!

Desi-- FH tried to get me to let him play bad girlfriend at the wedding!! Not good for a wedding but a good song All or nothing is just a love song, one of their new ones.

Lol well when we first started dating FH would always call me his June and I would call him Johnny cuz we are both fans of their music and their love story so it is another one of those that just fits the glove of our personal romance but also I have yet to hear it at a wedding and I have been to quite a few lately lol
