The different layers of lace!! The top layer of lace is sheer and reveals a bottom layer of a more vintage-looking lace.
Also, I love how opposite my expectations this dress is. Never in a million years would I think I'd pick a mermaid-style gown with a halter. Both things were on my "no-no" list. I guess that's the way it goes sometimes lol!

Actually I feel awful that I bought a dress I am not in loved with. I think I let everyone else’s opinion overshadowed my own. Now, I’m stuck with a dress I don’t like.
