What's your favorite memory with your significant other?

I was talking with FH about a few of our favorite memories together and it was such a nice conversation that I wanted to bring it here. What is your favorite memory (or memories) with your significant other?

April 12, 2015 - FH proposed in a private cabana on the beach in Jamaica.

January 25, 2016 - We closed on our first home together

March 25, 2016 - We got our puppies Bentley and Duke

Everyday we make new memories that I love, but these are my favorite Smiley smile

It's not A memory but something we used to do a lot.

When we first got together, he would come over to my house when he got off work. He would sit and I would lay on my living room floor just listening to old country music and talking.

While I have many favorite memories, my favorite is the first time FH and I spent the night together (and no, not in that way!!). We laid in my bed until 4 a.m. talking about everything under the sun and listening to music. It was just one of the most simple times we've had together.

My favorite is probably our second date.. it was AWFUL! I mean absolutely AWFUL.. He left my house and I was on the phone with my best friend talking about how terrible he was, when there was a knock on my door- he had come back to make things right and I didn't want to open the door but my best friend said that I had too because it could be my future husband on the other side.. how right she was!! I hung up, he came in, we talked and two years later laugh about our horrible second date!! I love him so much and I knew that night that I would be with him forever!

Ours has been an evolving memory! He was working in philly for a month or so, so he flew me up to see him for the weekend. We had been together a little over a year at this point. In walking around we ran into one of the "love" monuments and took some photos in front it--by far my favorite pic of us ever! And through our travels (our favorite thing to do together) have taken photos in front of all the love monuments we come across-NYC, San Fran, etc.. on our wedding day he gave me a painting of the love sign from philly along with a letter about how that day was the first time that he knew we would spend together forever. He is seriously the most thoughtful-and so much more romantic than I am!

We have a lot of "big" memories that are wonderful, but one of my favorites was a little tiny thing. We had recently moved in together (my first time living with a boyfriend), and he sent me a text asking if I wanted to grill some burgers after work and if so he would stop at the grocery store on his way home. It was just such a simple thing, but that's when it really hit me that we were serious partners. We weren't just dating, we were people who cooked together after work. That was my first little dose of our domestic bliss.

When he proposed of course cause that was such a surreal moment. When he asked me to be his girlfriend. When I surprised him on his birthday with a trip to Orlando and when we finally got to go was amazing because we made a lot more great memories together and seeing his face on all the awesome rides we got to go on! And the first time we said "I love you" to each other.

Also my first birthday with him he surprised me with balloons everywhere and a bed fill of roses!!! I cried and it was beautiful.

My FH used to own an old Camaro with t tops. Our first summer together we spent a lot of time just driving together with the wind blowing in our hair singing obnoxiously to the radio. I always love thinking about that.

Other than the proposal... it would be my first birthday after we started dating. We had just finished freshman year of college and went back home from the summer to stay with our parents (our families live six hours apart). I was hoping he would get to come see me for my birthday, but he said he wasn't able to get off work to make the trip. I was super bummed but understood. The evening of my birthday, he showed up at my house with a cookie cake, and told me to get dressed because he was taking me t dinner Smiley smile best surprise ever!

Our first date... He spilled his milkshake all down the front of his shirt and it was hilarious... then we went driving around for a few hours just listening to music and I remember loving how I didn't have to try to act like I was outgoing around him - he liked being with me even though I'm the quiet type and never thought I was boring.
