What's your Bridal Processional Song?

mel, on August 22, 2017 at 7:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 69

What song did you pick to walk down the aisle to and why? I had a song all picked out but I can't find the right version of it so now I'm trying to pick. My choices run from acoustic/folk-y to electronic house and super upbeat. I'm all over the place and every song is making me cry since I'm so close to the big day!

Haven't really thought about it yet, but there's a piano piece called The Porcelain Store by Mario that I can picture.

I'm doing an acoustic version of Marry Me by Train. They're FHs favorite band, so I wanted to do something a little special.

We did extremely traditional music for ours. We got married in this huge old cathedral and used their pipe organist, who played Canon in D for the bridal party, and Wagner's Bridal Chorus professional for me. The recessional was Mendelssohn's Bridal March; these fit our venue really well and made the service very elegant. Wouldn't have had it any other way!

I will be walking down to an acoustic version of "Made to love ya" by Gerald Levert. Still deciding on the bridal party entrance song but we are also doing an acoustic version of "This Very Moment" by KCi & JoJo for our recessional.

I had a few different songs in mind. Originally I had wanted to use Bright by Echosmith but FH though it was too fast, still might use it for the bridal party entrance song. I was considering Come To Me by the Goo Goo Dolls but I wasn't feeling it. Then another user on here mentioned I See The Light by Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi from the Tangled soundtrack and that's the one I'm going to be using.

We're coming in together to I Choose You by Sara Bareilles sung by a vocalist with keyboard arrangement. It seemed all wedding-y and stuff.
