What’s the sweetest thing about your Fh/fw?

I have type 2 diabetes that was diagnosed recently, and this man has been my rock. It's been a struggle figuring out what spikes my blood sugar and what I can eat, avoiding foods I love like french fries, but he has calmed me down and makes sure I'm ok. He even went to my first few doctors appointments to make sure he had the same info and to keep me calm. I have had many meltdowns that he has simply soothed me over, held me and even helped me figure out how to test my blood. Sweetest thing about my love is his big, generous heart and how he looks after me.

My FH is so good to me but I love most how good he is to my parents and family. My dad has mid-stage Parkinson’s. He was diagnosed almost 8yrs ago and while he does well most of the time there are a lot of manual labor things he can’t do anymore. If my parents need something, FH will drop everything to go help them. I have a brother but his work schedule is odd (shift work) and he’s not very handy. It just warms my heart to know he will do for them just as much as he will do for me. My mom often tells me she’s happy I found someone who was handy bc our family needed someone like him.

My husband always makes sure to do things for me. For instance there's been many times where he will drive me around so that I don't have to worry about driving or parking and this and that. There was one Saturday where he sat thru traffic to pick me up with my bff from a concert AND he brought us drinks and food so we can eat during the ride back.

I've visually impaired, i'm considered legally blind, and he goes out of his way to read stuff to me that's on the TV or at the movie theater even though his eyes are almost as bad as mine.

DH works mornings and I work nights.

He loves to cook, so I frequently come home to dinner already made, just needing heating up. I even spoke about it in our vows, it means so much to me.

I'm a hypoglycemic (so... opposite of diabetes! ...not fun), so eating as soon as I get home is super important to my health. Before he moved in, I'd have to figure out dinner the hard way, and now it's just ... there! Already made!

I can be anywhere from low, to good, to high 😂 It’s a constant battle, which is why I thank god for FH!! ❤️

My FH cooks 99.9% of the time, he can fix anything, he is a strong worker and he is meticulous about cleaning. He makes my coffee and will bring me my plate. He's perfect! I can't ask for more.
