Hi, so am I wrong in assuming that when i book a venue in America that all decorations etc are included in what package I've been looking at? Trying to find out off different vendors/hotels and I am not getting a clear enough answer, I'm just assuming that they are but if not do I hire someone else...

Trying to find out off different vendors/hotels and I am not getting a clear enough answer,

I'm just assuming that they are but if not do I hire someone else or do I bring my own(at the risk of getting squashed in a suitcase?lol)

Thanks everyone!

Decor is usually never included. However, consider whether your venue already is decorated very nicely or not. For my first wedding, it was around the holidays and at an elegant hotel so there were already decorations everywhere. All I added were centerpieces.

Depends what you mean by "decor". Most venues will include at least chairs and tables, and occasionally linens for said tables, but not always. Our venue was pretty all inclusive and includes EVERYTHING including centerpieces, etc...but that's definitely not the norm.

I'm finding it varies quite a lot depending on where it is,when I say decor what I mean is centerpieces etc or candles in vases,,things in the middle of the table(normally included here in your package),,lol,We are looking at Cypress Grove Estate in Orlando for the venue but I'm trawling the Internet looking for an all inclusive deal which would give me better peace of mind,Ugh!

Decor is not included. Hire someone to take care of it for you, traveling with or shipping decor will be a nightmare.

Thanks Misty,Ours doesn't include a lot by the looks of it but I will confirm this with our holiday/wedding planner before organizing Florists etc, wouldn't mind but its costing us a fortune as it is!eek!
