I had my heart set on doing a ring warming during the ceremony (where you pass the rings around through the guests during the ceremony and they each silently say a little blessing/wish over the rings). However, I mentioned this to FH last night and he wasn't thrilled. He said he was worried the rings would not make it back in time, and that it would distract from the ceremony. I told him I would get a broader opinion from the wise WW community and bow to the wisdom of the many Smiley smile

Just a couple of relevant details: We will have 60 guests. The ceremony will be 15-20 minutes long. It's a standing ceremony on the beach except for the elderly who will have seats. I imagined that I would put the rings in a little transparent pouch so if they are dropped they won't be lost in the sand. Do you think they would make it back in time? Would you be distracted from the ceremony as a guest?

I don't like this idea. How about just your parents?
