I'm glad you talked to him instead of driving yourself nuts, and even happier for you that there was an explanation that didn't involve a bomb going off for you. People are weird, we all know that, and some mothers are especially meddlesome, too, so while it was very weird, the fact that you could talk about it...and I say that meaning ACTUALLY TALK, just shows the two of you have excellent communication and that is the most important part of any relationship it does happen for a reason, perhaps this one was to make sure you know just how strong the 2 of you are together.
