What will the fathers wear?

Do they typically wear the same thing as the groomsmen? Or do they wear something different? Do the fathers have to match each other? Or can they do their own separate things? The groomsmen are wearing dark grey tuxes, so then do the fathers wear black? I don't know and I need to figure it out by...

Our dads will be wearing the same grey tuxes, but different color bow ties and vests. FH's dad doesn't own a suit so he wanted to rent. I let my dad choose if he wanted to rent a tux or wear a suit he already owns.

Our dads will be wearing the same gray suits as the groomsmen, but to make them stand out a little, we are putting them in black ties while the groomsmen wear orchid ties.
