FH and I are currently doing research on white wines to have for our wedding and have kind of come to a impasse.. we aren't very knowledgeable about wines. Therefore, I come to all of your for your help-- we are looking for a wine to have with Chicken Parmesan and Crab Stuffed Tilapia (wedding dinner) and are hoping for something that's not too sweet/dry. So, what white wine did you have for your wedding?

We did Pino Grigio, as it seems a lot of people did!

Please no Riesling as a main wine. It's more of a dessert wine. We also offered a sparkling wine option, not just for the toasts. Which we did with whatever people had in their glass.

I'm confused about the pinot grigio...I've never had a bottle under $20 that I liked. I think it's like pinot noir...I feel like it's a tough grape to do well under the $15-$20 bottle range. That being said, with a coupon and case discount, you could bring a $15 bottle down to about $10. But maybe you guys have tried pinots I haven't. I'm open-minded and willing to try anything when it comes to wine Smiley winking

Have you guys ever heard of the Oliver wine company? That's near where I live (Lafayette, IN). There's not wine specific stores, but we have the main/most popular brands available. For example, the Riesling we tried were Covey Run and Columbia Winery. There are also Italian wines available as the Moscato we tried were all three imported.
