What wedding colors match a blush wedding dress?

Brooklynn, on July 8, 2018 at 8:35 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 15

So I just recently purchased a blush wedding dress (shown below) and I am freaking out because I cant find/decide of colors that will compliment it. I want to try to find some unique colors to compliment the dress. Thanks!!

My gown is very pale pink. We are getting married this fall so our colors are pale pink then monochromatic tones up to deep maroon. Rose gold and silver are our metallics. My gown has tons of silver embroidery and crystals so I had to throw in some silver. Anyway, what sort of venue do you all want? What are your favorite colors? Indoor or outdoor ceremony and reception? Do you want a theme? All can help decide on your colors. My family was pushing for dove grey bridesmaids dresses and I just didn't want me to be the only pop of color. The guys are wearing black and grey. Can't wait to hear your plans.

We are getting married in an urban church. I would really like my bridesmaids to be in neutral colors but I can't decide which colors lol. I would want the men to be in either a dark grey or a navy. I am very undecided at this point!

Hi Brooklyn! Welcome to WeddingWire and congrats on your engagement! Smiley heart

You look gorgeous in your wedding dress and I absolutely love the blush!

Royal, cobalt, or navy blue pair really well with blush . I have seen brides wear blush, have white/light pink roses for florals, with the men in dark blue, and decor in blush and a bold/dark blue hue to follow suit.

Another color palette idea that's really gorgeous would be an all neutral wedding . Shades of white and blush, flowers and decor, with greenery like eucalyptus to add some natural color to the mix. You could even incorporate some silver/gold elements in votives and other items to accent these neutrals.

Our Pinterest page has many color palette and decor ideas that might help, too.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions throughout your wedding planning process, please don't hesitate to connect or post another discussion in our Community!

Honestly any color could work. Don't overthink it and choose a color (or colors) you like. Also, remember you are the bride, you don't have to match the decor.

My dress is a very noticeable blush. I said screw making the colors match, I'm the bride and I don't have to match a darn thing. We are going with our original plan of eggplant and silver.

I've been to a wedding where the bride wore blush and her maids were in ivory. I just love your gown!! This wedding was very pretty and different. More like a UK style. Your men could be in navy and you could have pink, ivory, and possible touches of blue in your florals. I hope we've helped a bit. I love wedding wire. Everyone is so sweet and helpful!! Your wedding will be perfect. Just take a deep breathe.

Your dress is pretty but it doesn't scream blush, I've seen more pigmented gowns so yours is very light. Do w.e colors you want. I believe everything will still work out and look great! Smiley smile

My dress is blush and my BM are wearing lilac! The men will be in Navy! I love the look of blush and navel! Our accent colors are ivory and gold. Other colors I was considering for BM was either grey, ivory, or Ice blue!

My dress is close to your color and I have my bridesmaids in Steel grey, and groomsmen are in light grey. We are using Ivory and purples for accents.

    Hi there, Brooklynn!

First of all, your dress is gorgeous! The detail on the bodice is jaw-dropping!

One of my favorite colors to match with pale pink is a sage green or a mint green! I love these photos of the green shown next to the pale pink -
