What we like about weddings

Love this 😃 too much negativity ended up happening in my opinion. Everyone has their own opinions but that went wayyy out of hand. It was cringy. My favorite thing I would have to say is the decorations and when they first see each other walking down the aisle. It makes me happy to watch. I love that everyone comes together to celebrate.

Ladies, an opinion is like an anus, everyone has one. Lol. Don’t sweat it when others say that something is “weird” at a wedding that you’re doing unless they are intentionally trying to offend/hurt you.

I LOVE food! Lol if they have good food I will remember that more than anything really but I also love when the groom sees the bride for the first time and you can tell he’s struggling to breathe 😂 can’t wait for that moment at my wedding!

What I look forward to with weddings is hearing the bride and groom’s vows (when they aren’t the standard repeat after me).

I’m so excited for our first dance on the beach(getting married in Hawaii). Also I am doing a “first look” with my grandfather (who was a big part in raising me and beyond excited about the wedding. He even went wedding dress shopping with me. He is also a big part of my wedding he’s walking me down the isle!) I am also doing a grand-father daughter dance with him. There are lots of little things I’m excited about! My grandmother is our flower girl. My two best friends are my matron and maid of honor.. and to top it all off my siblings are all my bridesmaids and bridesmen. I am so happy to get to share my happiness with our close friends and family they are even staying in Hawaii and joining us for (part of) our honeymoon! It may seem like small or stupid things but I am so excited❤️❤️! This turned into a long rant. Sorry just very happy.

Just because no one is directing their comments at you it’s still hard not to feel a tad depleted when you can’t afford to have an open bar but you still want your guests to have fun so you have a cash bar but the comments are saying how “absurdly rude” it is. It’s funny cuz they all say “Have a wedding you can afford!” Then they turn around and judge you for not having it this way and that way. It’s unnecessary to spread that negativity, spread love and kindness instead! We’re all super stressed to begin with no need to make us second guess every decision we’ve made thus far.

Getting the bride ready is one of my favorite parts. The happiness & excitement that is just floating in the air at a wedding. Watching the grooms face when he first sees his bride. Seeing friends and relatives I've not seen in forever. Simply LOVE weddings!! Looking forward to ours.

I love seeing the bride’s look, seeing sweet or funny moments during the ceremony, and the FOOD/DRINKS!

I also love decor or entertainment that’s totally “that couple.” My friends had fire dancers at their Oregon wedding. Very cool.

My fav weddings have been intimate 50 guests or less at a fabulous destination where my honey & I can enjoy a lovely weekend.

I’m all about the cake.

Iawake...i love looking at the decorations and getting all dressed up in fancy schmancy clothes for a change. The flowers are mostly beautiful (even if theyre low key trying to kill me...im allergic to the planet. Trees, flowers, grass, weeds, bugs-especially the blood sucking ones...if its outside, I'm allergic. It sucks.)

M absolute favorite part is watching the grooms reaction, it gets me everytime. At the receptions I really enjoy the best man/ moh speech. I've heard some pretty great speeches lol

I always love the couple seeing each other for the first time, the vows... and the dancing! I love dancing, but I'm not a club type of person, so I really only get to dance at big parties like weddings.

FH tends to hate dancing, but with some encouragement, a poorly advised bet on his part, and a few good dresses... I've gotten him on the dance floor a lot more, lately.

There are enough challenges and stresses around wedding planning as is, no need for more. Love UPLIFTING and ENCOURAGING posts!

I am all about décor, food, and experience. I like unique and different weddings, vintage, boho, themed, anything can be amazing when done with great detail and love!

The ceremony is by far my favorite! I just love seeing everyone’s reactions and I always tear up.

Oh, and good food! Especially when there’s a rocking cocktail hour with some type of unique food which is totally unexpected at a wedding!
