What was your first wedding decision?

The season. Engaged in May , we wanted to be married no later than mid October.

We picked which month we wanted to have it in and our colors!

The very first thing was picking our First Dance song, which we picked about six months before we were engaged

We picked our wedding date, and luckily our amazing venue had availability that day. 👍🏼

I think the first decision was what month we wanted to get married in.

My venue was my first decision in wedding planning and then I picked my color scheme.

We also picked our date in the process of picking our venue and color scheme.

I'd say we picked the season first, then our venue and date.

We picked our venue first. Everything I dread stated that it was the dictator of almost everything else so that was our priority. We weren't even sure what part of the state we wanted to get married in or if we really wanted to get married in FL so it was a big decision.

Picking our dream date and then trying to find a venue that had it open!

I would say our first decision was focused around location and date. We needed to figure out where we wanted to have the wedding (Cali or Fl) and when. I knew in Fl we didn't want any days between Memorial and Labor Day due to prices being so high.

We decided on the date, reached out to venues, changed the date, and then, reached out to more venues.

We decided on having tacos and churros first! Then... the venue and date. haha

It was the cost. I decided that I was going to spend as little as possible

Venue was the first thing we nailed down.

After FH proposed he said he didn’t want to wait long to get married and asked if I was okay with getting married this summer. So that was the first decision we made. After that I found a venue and he liked it as well. Then we choose a date based on venue availability.

Easily the date. We both love fireworks and luckily the 4th of July 2020 falls on a Saturday.
