What to wear to try on wedding dresses?

I know davids bridal provided a shaper that was attached to the bra

Davids's did provide shapewear but other local boutiques I went to didn't. Wear a strapless bra- and nude in color.

The consultant will give you what you need for under the gown IF you need it. Most gowns have lining, boning etc and you'll be surprised with how fabulous you will look and feel. Good luck and keep us posted.

I work my own seamless briefs and strapless bra, both in nude. Ended up taking my bra off for some of the dresses.

I'm probably working myself up. I feel like I won't like anything with how I feel right now, yet I haven't hopped on the "shedding for the wedding" train yet either! Lol. Thanks ladies! Nude bra is not in my collection, I'll grab one for sure

I bought myself some shapewear and I went to a small wedding shop that ended up asking if I could take it off and try theirs on. I was a little upset I paid for the shapewear I did and they ended up wanting me to wear something different..But Oh well lol I guess that was just my experience

Hearing most of them are built to make you look good, makes me a little less nervous! Maybe this will be better than regular clothes shopping!

No tight dress for me. You couldn't pay me to wear something form fitting right now lol.

Girl, don't go in saying that! I went in wanting a big ball gown to hide my fat..I came out with a form fitting dress and I feel like a million bucks! & I have zero confidence.. Until I put that dress on!

I wore nude strapless bra and spandex running shorts.

I'm def trying to keep an open mind! That's the advice everyone gives, try on all types. I promise I will TRY to be less self conscious and crazy lol

I wore a strapless bra & seamless thong/cheeky panties. I ended up taking off my bra & they added cups to some dresses. I totally suggest nude undergarments so they won't be a distraction. Also, I recommend to be very open minded. You may go in with a vision, that vision may not look good on you, then you walk out buying a totally different dress. Definitely step out of your comfort zone & try on dresses you never thought you'd try on. Good luck!
