What to put for this response card.

Casie, on August 16, 2016 at 1:28 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

No inner envelopes I'm putting who is invited on the outside envelope. Should I fill anything in on the response card. I don't want people coming I didn't invite lol.

I am afraid of that happening as well. So I put you have blank seats reserved in your honor. For the accept I put blank of blank accepts. Hope that helps.

You left it blank how many can attend so at least one person will probably write in a number you aren't expecting.

    Better way:

    ___ seats out of two

    ___ seats out of one

    ___ seats out of four

Also do you have any place on the return card of who it's from when they send it back to you?

You can write their names in on the M line for yourself, and so they see (again) who is invited.

You don't have to do this, but it may help Smiley winking

We actually print them that way for certain orders.

I had pre-filled the names on my RSVPs (they came printed in nice cursive).

my problem so far is when i invited Mr. and Mrs. Jones: Number attending __ of 2. they fill in one of out 2 and i don't know which of the two of them is coming. So now I need to call them to find out for my escort cards :/ guess that's better than getting blank cards back and having no idea who is coming (which i see a lot of).

If you haven't ordered them yet, you can add a line "We have reserved ___ seats in your honor."

I didn't have it written on the RSVP but had "[#] of seats have been reserved in your name" printed on thin paper that laid on top of the RSVP.

I should have prefilled out the rsvp, I had inner envelopes with who was invited and I had several respond bringing all their kids which I was hoping to avoid!

I'm planning on ordering my RSVPs through Costco...very limited on the ability to change wording...hopefully no one gets confused!

I would suggest adding something like "2 seats have been reserved for you". I would also suggest numbering your RSVP cards. People won't pay attention to who he invite is addressed to. And people will forget to write names. We ended up having to reach out to a lot of people who didn't get the whole RSVP thing. It was a frustrating few weeks.
