What to do?

So, I am 44 days until I say "I do" and my florist closed up shop and left me. I'm out all my money and now no flowers. There just isn't enough time to find another florist in my price range. Any suggestions? I'm desperate!

Real and fake flowers are about the same price but if you used fake flowers you can DIY them ahead of time. There are a ton of video tutorials on you tube if you need help.

Sounds like an option but I just need bouquets and boutonnieres. I already have centerpieces because we are doing non floral.

Great. You can save $ that way. Get smaller bouquet for yourself and one dramatic flower bouquet for bridesmaids to save on costs.

I am so sorry to hear this, it's gross what some companies do. I am not sure where you live but here our ShopRite does beautiful flowers in short notice. Have you checked grocery stores or Costco?

Do you have any photos of this?? We can't have open flames at our venue and I've found that LED candles are very pricey. I'm using Costco and Fifty Flowers for our floral arrangements and DIYing. They're very reasonable.

I live in Florida and we don't have a Shoprite. I'm originally from New Jersey and I so miss that store!

Costco has gorgeous flowers or I've seen some really lovely silk flower bouquets on Etsy!

That's horrible, i hope you got your money back if you had paid already!

Try amazon if you're okay with fake/silk flowers. The reviews on these are amazing and there are review photos people have posted and you can not even tell they are fake. We are planning on getting these for our wedding, I'm just a procrastinator and haven't decided which colors i want yet! Check them out!

If you just need bouquets and boutonnieres and are not worried about real flowers, maybe see if you can find sola wood options? I think they look gorgeous and I like them better than other "fake" alternatives. There are a TON on Etsy, although most require significant lead time (6-10 weeks) so just shop around and contact the seller to see if they can have them to you in 40 days or less.

This shop has a quick turnaround (2-3 weeks) and really pretty options in a bunch of colors. Price is similar to what my florist is charging for real flowers. Sola wood will last forever and can be keepsakes/gifts for after the wedding: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WoodlandFlowerCo

Also, if forced to cut costs, I don't think boutonnières are all that necessary, so you can probably skip them.

    I'm sorry to hear that.

Have you seen the Baby's Breathe bouquets. I personally think they are beautiful! I am seriously thinking of doing this for my bridesmaids.

Another thing that I am doing is using the bridal bouquets as centerpieces afterwards. Or you can reuse them on your sweetheart or cake table.

    Best of Luck to You!
