What to do after hair and makeup trial ?

I did my make up trial prior to my bridal shower.

Doing my makeup trial before e-pics! I told her this is just to make sure I want to book her, not necessarily my wedding look. I figured the worst that happens is I have to wash my face and do it myself lol.

I had my hair trial two weeks ago. I just went home and laid on the couch afterward haha

Doing it before the bridal shower was a great idea! I wish I did that!!! We went out to dinner to a pretty fancy restaurant. I live with FH so hiding my hair and makeup from him was going to be difficult.

I'm going to schedule my hair and makeup trial for the day of my first dress fitting, beforehand. That way I can see what I look like all put together!

I washed it off and took it out I didn't want anyone to see it.

I'd schedule it before your shower or bachelorette so that it doesn't go to waste. That's what I plan to do. Although after the wedding trial, I plan to have the stylist change it just a bit so that people don't see exactly how it will look for the wedding.

I have my hair and makeup trial next weekend and was wondering the same thing!

One of my bridesmaids did her hair & makeup trial for her wedding on the day of my wedding. =)

I didn't do a hair/makeup trial at all. Beauty was not one of my top priorities, and ironically it went better than some of the wedding aspects that were much more important to me (music for example).

I sat around watching Netflix looking glam af.

I only did the hair trial because we were trying different styles, and I had complete faith in her for makeup so I didn't get that done. DH took me shopping for weddings bands then out to dinner after.

I went to my friends wedding after my make-up trial. Hair trial was a different day.

I've had bride-to-be's do their trials right before bachelorette party, shower, dress shopping, bday parties, girls night out, boudoir shoot... It's nice to do it earlier to see how it holds up throughout the day too.

Your FH probably won't say "hey...isn't that the same eyeshadow you wore for our e-pics?"

I think if he sees it, it's okay. It will be different when he sees the whole picture (hair, dress, makeup, accessories...etc).

I'm going to class after mine.

My makeup trial is next Sat and I'm praying my darn dress comes in so I can go try it on same day!!

I love the idea of getting it done before the shower. I was thinking our engagement photo, but 6 months before is a lot of time to change my mind. Lol

Imagine a triangle, where each point is 45 minutes away from each other. That was me, the hair stylist and the makeup artist. I went to my dress maker who was nearby the makeup artist at the same time. And I dropped in at my grandparents, cos they also lived nearby and it seemed a waste to go all that way and not say hello. And I had sprained my ankle the day before, so I did all the travelling by taxi's. It was a long, long day.

I was exhausted by the end. When I got home, I had a beer and a nap on the couch.
