    How fun!

The look you're describing is very specific and I would think you'd know better than us the kind of influences you like within that particular subset of the fashion world, but I kind of like the idea of a really fun suit. I found these, which I think will be too tame for the style you describe, but maybe they will begin to spark some ideas!

Amazing! Yes a detachable skirt, or maybe some dramatic cape/bow feature would be fabulous.

I love the idea of a detachable skirt. I’m totally thinking like, Billy Porter in that magnificent tuxedo gown.

Can I just say that whatever you decide on, please come back and post pictures because it sounds like whichever option you take will be stunning! I also love the idea of a detachable skirt Smiley smile

How about a pants suit with a skirt overlay? That way you get the best of both worlds. Also if u get tired of the skirt you can take it off.

    What about an attire change?

You could wear multiple outfits, or have "convertible" clothing, like a detachable skirt, cape, bow, etc. I love the mix of feminine colors and patterns on masculine silhouettes or vise versa.

I love a detachable skirt! I didn’t realize what a trend it was until I started looking at the most recent episodes of say yes to the dress for ideas.. which is unfortunately not as LBGTQ+ inclusive for bridespersons that I’ve seen but the concept was of the detachable skirt there was key. Definitel aha moment. Are you going to do custom made? The only foreseeable issue I can think of is hemlines not aligning like jacket to waist ratio but what if you didn’t wear a jacket for the ceremony and your shirt underneath was like some badass billowing top or statement sleeves on a button down or something else that incorporates the tones? I’ve had some wine, I’m feeling dreamy .,sorry for going on and on Smiley smile One of my bridespeople is a she/her lesbian that identifies primarily as masculine and won’t be wearing a bridesmaids dress along with the rest and I’m wondering if her suit should match the groomsmen or if I should get her something custom made. I’m pretty far from deciding those details but it’s important that you and your soon to be both feel your absolute best on your special day and that everyone else can watch the glam unfold or fall off a cliff!
