What to bring on a venue tour

Kiersten, on February 5, 2020 at 3:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

I've seen a million lists of questions to ask when touring a potential venue, but I'm wondering if anyone brought a physical copy of these questions? I know we should ask the same questions to everyone to be able to compare easier, but am I supposed to just whip out my questionnaire and fill it out like a pop quiz? We have quite a few venues to tour and I just can't find a solid answer regarding "touring etiquette".

Let me know if this is completely insane and I'm thinking too much. Thanks!

I had a note book with questions in it. I didn't read down them like a list. Most of them I was able to ask natural as part of the tour. At the end, I just glanced though my list and went though anything I missed.

I had a notebook with questions in it. I asked a few that weren't already answered and took notes as well. There are a lot of little things that go into a wedding..and I don't have a hired planner..so I needed the list to keep everything together.

I brought my work portfolio and just asked questions and made notes as we walked through. My husband was in charge of taking pictures while I did that!

I brought a list of questions on paper for my husband to ask on like a second or third time at the venue since I couldn't go but I just had so many questions.

I put a list of questions in my phone, and asked them during our walk through and sit down, and took notes in a small notebook. I think people understand this is common, and that you need to keep track of this info.
