What "titles" do I call my brother & nephew?

Christine, on June 6, 2016 at 2:07 AM Posted in Planning 0 4

No bridal party here. But I asked my brother to escort my mother down the aisle in his Air Force dress blues. My nephew will be escorting our dog, the "Ring Dog".

For the programs that I'm currently working on, this suddenly dawned on me as a title snafu. What do I call them?!

So far, I've got "Ring Dog Usher" and "Usher of the Mother of the Bride"

Both sound awkward. Thoughts?!

Your brother sounds like an usher, so call him that. Your nephew could be Dog's Name Attendant/Escort.

I just went to a wedding where the bride only had one bridesmaid and she had her brother with the title "brother of honor". I thought it was a cute way to incorporate him as there were other groomsmen

MOB first last escorted by son rank first last.

    Ring Bearer, Fido

    Fido's Assistant/Escort/Wrangler/Handler, bride's nephew first last
