You need to discuss this with your photographer to determine how much time you will need for pictures before your ceremony starts.

You need to ask your photographer. They'll have a better idea.

Glad you asked this question, I definitely was a little lost about this too, especially with setting up appointments for hair and makeup (timing). Thanks!

I've actually been working on this the last couple days. Your photographer will be able to tell you when you need to be ready because you'll probably want to get some pictures before your ceremony. My photographer wants me in my dress about an hour and a half before our ceremony starts.

My photographer took about 30 minutes with us. We did me with my bridesmaids, me doing finishing touches with earrings, MOH buttoning my dress and veil adjustment with mom. He also took another few minutes before we started to do rings, invitation and bouquets.

On another note, I had to be at church 30 minutes before the start time. It seemed like a long time when I first heard it, but it seemed like 5 minutes the day of the wedding!!

My photographer helped to lay out a timeline at our first meeting. I agree with PP ask them or if you have a day of coordinator or wedding planner. There is also a timeline tool here on WW that might be able to help you a bit.

My hair and MUA said I should be ready 45 mins to an hour before I have to leave for venue to reduce stress and build in a buffer. I'm getting hair and makeup done at my parents house and then going over to venue to put on dress.
