What time does your reception end?

That’s not weird at all! Our ceremony is at 3pm, and the reception ends at 9pm.

We are doing 6PM-10PM.

My timeline is the same as yours and I felt the same way. Mostly because if I'm drinking and having fun I wouldn't want to leave. But a four hour reception is normal and I plan on inviting people out to go bar hopping as an after party for the younger crowd who likes to stay out later.

Our ceremony begins at 5 and the reception ends at 11. If we still plan on partying, thankfully there's a hotel across the street with a bar that closes at 2am.

Our reception also ends at 1030. I think that is perfect time because its not too late but also well into the night. Plus Guests will appreciate this because depending how far they need to travel they wont be getting back to their home or hotel room ridiculously late either.

Guests are out at 10pm, as we need it 100% cleaned by 11

That's pretty much our timeline! 5pm ceremony, 6pm cocktail hour (ceremony is 30ish minutes, but guests need to travel about 5mins to the reception), 7pm dinner starts, 8-11 party! We have the option to extend the bar and DJ if we want. That will be decided the night of.

That’s my exact timeline too lol I think 10:30 is a great end time. You could always do an off site after party for any guests who want to celebrate passed midnight but personally I’d rather call it a night and spend some alone time with my new husband after being around people all day.

I’m still trying to get our timeline together 🙊
Our ceremony will start at 3pm and end around 3:30pm. After the ceremony we have to move the chairs outside to inside for the reception. I’m still trying to figure out everything else after that!
