Definitely! I sent JK Rowling's out a couple of weeks ago and a form letter on the Obamas website. I'm sure it's going to take several more weeks until we get a response. For misters Majumdar and Brown their invites are going out with the rest. Then I'm going to contact the local figures once we start getting No's from guests.

Our wedding IS the surprise. Everyone thinks it will be a celebration dinner for my FH who has been in remission from his cancer battles. They don't know we are getting married as well. It was what my FH wanted to do so here we are. :-)

I'm toying with the idea of getting singing lessons to sing to her on our wedding day as a surprise. She would lose her mind. But I'm a big chicken so I'm still thinking about it.

We’re getting koozies as favors for our reception but I got my FH one that says “Trophy Husband!”

Our cocktail hour will be at a resort on the water and my parents live about 10-15 minutes away from there by boat, so we are planning to arrive to our cocktail hour by boat! We're hoping it will be a fun and unexpected entrance and also a chance for us to spend a few minutes by ourselves on our wedding day!

We’re in Texas and our wedding is very rustic so we’ve hired a dance instructor to teach everyone how to 2-step! Pair this with our live band and it’s gonna be a great time!

I am singing a song to my husband as a surprise

My big surprise is I hired a violinist to play for the ceremony.

My best friend's boyfriend and I arranged a surprise proposal at my bouquet toss! It was the most perfect moment for everyone involved. She was already dressed to the nines as my maid of honor, our photographer was there to snap the pictures, and the DJ played their favorite song afterwards! It really couldn't have gone any better-- and now I get to be maid of honor for the next year!
