I have a strapless dress too and the top is beaded. I am going with a simple pearl and rhinestone necklace that I found at Burlington Coat factory. I think its more of how you think it looks on you!

Uh oh. I cannot see your photo I think that you can go whichever way you want with your necklace. I think that it matters more if the earrings are over the top AND you have a statement necklace. I personally think that it should be one or the other, i.e. statement necklace and simple earrings or vice versa. either way, make sure you feel that you look your most beautiful!

I have the same type of dress and was thinking of not wearing a necklace. I think I'm going to find some nice earrings and a bracelet. I don't want to distract from the dress because it is beaded top to bottom. I looked up a picture of my dress on a model and she was dressed as such. Maybe look for a pic of how your dress is presented by the designer?
