Hi guys! I’m exactly 200 days away from My wedding (July 10, 2020) and I’m feeling pretty good about planning! I got the venue/catering/cake (all inclusive), the officiant, and the DJ booked. Hi guys! I’m exactly 200 days away from My wedding (July 10, 2020) and I’m feeling pretty good about planning! I got the venue/catering/cake (all inclusive), the officiant, and the DJ booked. I’m talking to a few photographers, florists, and ceremony musicians. I feel like everything is going well and it’s going to be a beautiful wedding, but I’m nervous that it’s a little cookie cutter. Our venue is a historic old mansion but they have a ton of weddings, and the catering is exclusive so there are limited options. My colors are sage, navy, and blush, which I love but are pretty common. I just feel kind of blah and I’m trying to think of ways I could make my wedding more unique. What sort of things are you guys doing to make your wedding distinctly you?

Honestly... I think every wedding looks a bit cookie cutter unless you're doing a theme that is totally off the wall. We tried to make things very personal and meaningful right down to our venue choice. We did our favorite cakes and deserts instead of a wedding cake. But, in the end, it looked like most weddings do.
