What size table does the cake go on?

You can put the cake on any size table you'd like. People use various sizes depending on the size of their cake or their cake stand, if they are planning to put other desserts around it, if the cake is being cut and handed out or cut and set on the table, etc.

I think it just depends. If it's just the cake, usually a smaller round table. We are having a dessert bar with a small cutting cake, so ours will be a banquet longer table!

Hey Si! This is truly just a personal preference type of thing! You may even want to ask your baker what size table they would suggest based on the size of the cake you ordered! If the table ends up looking too big, you could always add some cute decor around it to spice up the look a little bit and take up some extra room!

I imagine whatever table fits your space and can accommodate your dessert setup would work just fine. Take into account if people will be accessing it themselves or if they'll be served dessert and that'll determine if you need to include plates and napkins, or even any additional decorations you'll want!
