What Size Am I?

I’m terrified to go dress shopping as I have no idea what size I am normally. Basically, I’m 5ft 1/2 and 241lbs.     It’s impossible to determine size based on height and weight because wedding dresses are not sized like street clothes and designers don’t use universal size charts. You have to call ahead at the stores you want to try on if they have plus sizes and try them on and get actual measurements for future reference. Some stores serve only plus sizes.

    Don't worry about "what size" you are. Go to a reputable bridal shop and they will take your measurements, and help you choose a gown that not only fits perfectly, but looks best on you. Bridal dresses tend to be 1 or 2 sizes larger than "your size" anyway. Mine is. No one is going to be looking inside your dress to see "what size" you are unless you plan to wear the dress inside out. Just go and let the pros handle it. Good luck!
