As I look online for inspiration for ceremony and reception decorations, I see all kinds of signs! Signs for unplugged ceremonies, ceremony welcome, guest book, dessert bar, signature drinks, and more! Are you setting up any signs to guide guests on where to go or what to do? If so, what signs are you displaying? Are you making them, or buying them? Let's see some pictures of your signs!

The COVID sign is a great idea! I also think it's really neat that your venue wrote up the chalkboard sign for you! Other than the sign from your venue, were the rest of your signs the same material/design? Or different for each one?

That definitely will save you some money by not having any signs! They can be expensive, especially if there are a lot of them.

I definitely agree that anything not obvious would be helpful to have on a sign! We're doing a photo guest book, so I bought a sign for that for fairly cheap from Etsy. Otherwise, I'm considering a welcome sign, since our venue has a restaurant and tasting room both onsite (multiple entrances), so the sign might help guide everyone where to go. I don't see a need for any other signs for my wedding, but I love seeing what everyone else came up with for their weddings!

We used Vistaprint for our save the dates and I was very impressed with their quality so we decided to us them again for the larger signs. They were printed on foam boards. The welcome sign was 22" x 28" horizontal foam board and the hashtag and choose a seat not a side were 22" x 28" vertical foam boards. They have different size options as well.

Great signs to have! Are you planning to do the same general material/design for all signs? Or different for each one?

Those turned out beautiful!! Did they have templates through Vistaprint that can be used? Or do you have to provide your own template (either buying one from Etsy or finding one elsewhere online)?

We're planning on having our welcome sign be acrylic! Everything else will be printed at home through Word and placed in a glass and gold frame! No one really looks at the signs anyways, so we aren't wanting to spend a ton on them.

They do have some templates, but not sure what all templates they have. We purchased the templates from Etsy prior to deciding where to have the signs printed.

Very cool on the acrylic sign! I totally agree with you, I'm not willing to spend a lot on signs either, especially ones that I can't use again. The frame idea is great for the rest of your signs - frames can definitely be found for fairly cheap, but they still look elegant! And once the wedding is over, you can re-use the frame.

Thanks! I found ideas on Pinterest for the acrylic sign, so that's what made me really love the look of it! That's the plan, we already have a few pictures at home in the same frames, so the ones we use at our wedding will just be repurposed for use in our home. Smiley heart

You're welcome 😁 Just an FYI we spent $12.59 for the three templates from Etsy. We had them custom made to all have the same font and everything.

They're not all the same, some of them are. (All the food ones will be the same)
