What sacrifices have you made to save for your wedding?

Sacrifices could be a strong word. Comic Con is in Philly next week and I was so close to buying some tickets and photo ops with some of the cast members of Boy Meets World and Riverdale. I decided against it because I'd rather put that money towards the wedding. FH and I also used to go to restaurants once a week and we've now cut back to monthly. There's some great restaurants around Philly. We've also started cooking our own brunch every Sunday and it's become a romantic tradition. What adjustments have you made to save for the big day?

Now that I think of it we probably would buy a new bed if there were no wedding. The idea came up after we got engaged so it always started as something we'll do after the wedding. I also have a tattoo craving! I got my first one 7 years ago and I feel ready to get another but I don't know what? Where? Which body part? Also getting a good tattoo artist requires some research and I'm too lazy to do that until after the wedding.

The money I was saving for a new car will go towards the wedding.

I won't be getting my nails done until closer to the wedding.

Also I will pass on any summer concerts that I usually like to attends.

We had to skip going to South Africa (where my FH is from) for Christmas... he's never been away from his family for Christmas so I know it was hard for him. We also are taking our honeymoon a year after the wedding so we can do the one we want, 13 days Baltic Sea cruise. We are so excited and know it'll all be worth it!

I have cut back on eating out and I am about to sacrifice a festival that I really wanted to go to but I will give the money to my venue to start paying them off.

We would really like to move and build a house, but we are going to wait until we can save more, which will happen after the wedding. I also don't get my nails done anymore. We need to really cut back on eating out! Our wallets and waistlines will thank us!
